"Simply the best! Is the only way to describe Don Burns. He is exactly the realty expert we were hoping to find – extremely knowledgeable, highly skilled, well connected, of outstanding integrity and completely reasonable and fair." -Louis & Julie Soldano "We want to thank both of you from the bottom of our hearts for assisting us with this transition and the professional and expedient manner in which you handled the sale of our home in New Territory. We are pleased to know that a wonderful family will have the pleasure of living in our house where we shared memories that are special to us." -Mike & Debra Rylander "In this day and age of personal service being ever more elusive, it was with great pleasure that we discovered your personalized approach to helping us with our recent real estate transactions. Considering our frustration in the design process of intending to build a new home, your arrival in our relocation effort brought a heightened feeling of chance of success for Gerry and I to reach our goal. Let me say thanks from my whole family for making a stressful time very peaceful and satisfying. I would heartily recommend your services to those considering a home purchase or sale." -Al Czenski, CPA "How can we begin to thank you for leading us to this place we love, our new home? We appreciate it more then you will ever know! You two are really wonderful! We feel really blessed to have been led your way!" -David & Amy Sanders "I just wanted to say thanks for helping me to locate office space in Sugar Land. When I decided to leave the firm that I was a partner in, after almost eight years, an venture out on my own, finding office space was one of the most critical factors. Though it was not easy, I know that you aggressively pursued the challenge while, at the same time, displaying a great deal of patience with me during my most anxious moments. I have since referred two of my friends to you, who reported back to me how good an experience they had working with you, especially compared to other REALTORS whom they felt treated them as merely a source for a quick commission. I know first hand how you take time to give your clients the care and attention that they need to help them find the right home or office space." -John Burchfield, Attorney "Byron & I want to thank you all for all your help. Thank you for answering all of our crazy questions & being so patient with us. This has been a wonderful experience and I am so glad you all have walked in this journey with us. We are truly blessed to know such wonderful people." -Byron & Mary Beth Driskell "Andrew & I wanted to thank you for all your time, kindness, patience and good advise that you gave us these past weeks. When we were feeling stressed or discouraged, your laughter, joy and warmth instantly brightened our spirits! We don't consider you "our Realtor" – but as our friends and our brother and sister in the Lord." -Andrew & Valerie Miller

Insurance >Your Life Preserver
Title insurance is like a life preserver on a boat. You will probably never need it, but if you do, you will be very glad that it is there! How does title insurance work, and how does it protect you in the home buying process?
A title search will be ordered before you buy a home, to make sure that the sellers legally own the property, and that no one else has a legal interest in the home. The title company will also check through the ownership records for any liens, easements or other encumbrances on the title. This search should turn up any transactions that may not appear on the public record, such as an unsound transfer that occurred many years ago. Title insurance protects you against future claims against your home.
Your real estate agent can give you more specific information about the cost of title insurance and the types of coverage available in your area.
