As people get their decorations up and continue shpping for gifts, they often forget that this is the best time to sell a house. Many buyers are rushing to get a contract in and close on a house before the end of the year. They know that in order to file for a homestead exemption, they have to own a home on January 1.

The mortgage rates are the best they have been in years, so why not take the plunge.
